Data in this report are from COGCNV, U.S. Census, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, and Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development, in addition to other data sources.

This study compiles data on automobile collisions involving pedestrians and bicycles in the Central Naugatuck Valley Region (CNVR) and analyzes the spatial distribution and characteristics involved in these accidents. The study includes recommendations to address bicycle and pedestrian safety issues in the region.

Congestion Management System Report: 2008
The 2008 Congestion Management System Report (CMS) summarizes the results of COGCNV's traffic congestion monitoring for 2007-2008. It serves as a tool to identify deficiencies within the system. The regional CMS analysis began with the 2006 Congestion Management System Report in order to establish a framework for evaluating the region's highway system.

Waterbury Regional Bus Stop Study 2007 (19.9 mb)
The study analyzes the bus stops of the CT TransitWaterbury fixed route bus system and presents bus stop location recommendations based on bus stop assessments conducted in 2005 and 2006 by COGCNV staff, North East Transportation managers, and the Waterbury Police Department, a bus driver survey conducted in 2004, previous COGCNV bus route studies, and discussions with municipal officials.

Central Naugatuck Valley Region Bus Route Study - June 2004 (3.57 mb)
The study analyzes the CT Transit fixed routes and trippers in the Waterbury area and presents routing and scheduling recommendations based on the findings from a bus route ridership survey conducted in 2001 and 2002, previous COGCNV bus route studies, field observations, discussions with the bus routes' operator North East Transportation, municipal officials, and local groups.
